BRONX, N.Y.
The Hunter Hawks coasted by host Lehman College's women's swim team on Friday night, capturing their CUNYAC meet 110-65 at the APEX Aquatics Center to drop the Lightning to 1-6 on the season.

Sporting a significantly larger team than the Lightning, the Hawks took command of the meet early and were particulary dominant in the 200-yard IM and 100-yard butterfly, two events in which Hunter took the top three finishes.

Junior Adriana Navarrete continued her fine season for the Lightning, taking first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 27.66 seconds.  Navarrete narrowly missed a second top finish as
Hunter's Charlotte Collazo edged her by less than .02 seconds, 1:01.16 to 1:01.33, in the 100-yard freestyle.  Collazo also took the 200-yard freestyle.

The Lehman women will return to the pool as part of a dual meet against the United States Merchant Marine Academy on December 13.
