Men's Soccer Drops 2-0 Decision to Brooklyn

Box Score BRONX, N.Y. - The Lehman College men's soccer team dropped a hard-fought, 2-0, decision to rival Brooklyn College in CUNY Athletic Conference action on Wednesday evening on the South Field.

The Lightning (4-8, 1-3 CUNYAC) surrendered one goal in each half as the Bulldogs (6-5, 3-1 CUNYAC) passing propelled the visitors to victory.

Lehman would not go down without a fight, as the home team had opportunity after opportunity but couldn't finish.

Freshman goalkeeper Alejandro Romero (White Plains, N.Y./White Plains) made six saves to help keep the Lightning in the game.

There will be no rest for the weary as the Lightning's four game home stand will conclude on Saturday afternoon, when Lehman hosts John Jay on the South Field for a key conference contest. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
