Bronx, N.Y. – Five members of the Lehman College men's soccer team have been selected to the 2026 CUNYAC All-Conference and Postseason awards rosters.

Forward Ashraf Abubakar and defender Gabriel Arful earned First Team All-Conference honors, while midfielder Brandon Dennis and defender Alejandro Vargas were named to the CUNYAC All-Star Second Team. Additionally, midfielder Abdoul Cisse was selected to the CUNYAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

Arful claimed his second consecutive CUNYAC postseason honor after anchoring the Lightning backline and starting in all 15 matches this season.

Abubakar also secured back-to-back conference accolades after once again leading Lehman in scoring with seven goals. The Bronx native added three assists while appearing in all 15 games with 12 starts.

Dennis captured his first conference award after leading the Lightning with four assists on the season while also netting a goal. The Bronx native started in all 15 matches.

Vargas obtained his first CUNYAC postseason recognition after starting in 14 games for Lehman and chipped in defensively along with scoring one goal.

Cisse took home his first CUNYAC award, earning the sportsmanship nod after playing in all 15 games and making 14 starts for the Lightning.
