Men's Soccer Stumbles at Old Westbury, 4-0

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's soccer team fell at Old Westbury 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon, in a non-conference tilt. The Lightning surrendered the game's first goal in the first half, then three in the second.

Lehman's starting goalkeeper Alejandro Romero (White Plains, N.Y./White Plains) had 10 saves on the afternoon. Junior Pedro Simas (Aracaju, Brazil/Graccho Cardoso) stopped two shots in relief in his first action of the year.

The Lightning return to the pitch on Saturday, September 14, against Berkeley College, in a game played at Aviator Field in Brooklyn. The Lightning will return to the South Field on Monday, September 16, when they take on Purchase College. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. That game is the second game of a double-header, as the Lehman women's team plays Purchase at 4:30 p.m.
