BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College soccer teams will be in action today, with the men's soccer team travelling to SUNY Old Westbury for a 3:30 p.m. start, while the women's soccer team will host NYU-Polytech at 7:00 p.m. Today is the home opener for the women's team.

The men are 2-1 so far this season, having beaten Sarah Lawrence on Saturday, 8-0. In that game, junior
Ronniel Mendez (Mantanzas, Cuba/Miami Southbridge) scored three goals en route to earning the CUNYAC/Applebee's Player of the Week.
The women are 3-1, and are coming off of winning the championship at the Cedar Crest College Tournament over the weekend. Sophomore Juliana Generoso (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) earned Most Valuable Player honors, as she scored three goals in the two games. Most importantly, she scored the lone goal as Lehman beat NYU-Poly, 1-0, in the championship game. Today will be a rematch against NYU-Poly.
