NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's swimming and diving team fell to host Hunter College, 57-27, in CUNY Athletic Conference action, on Tuesday evening.
Freshman Angela Mejia (Bronx, N.Y.) was a double winner for Lehman, finishing first in the 50-free with a time of 26.79, and earning gold in the 100-breast in 1:17.78, missing her school record by less than a second.
Junior Ericka Lewin (Mount Vernon, N.Y./Mount Vernon), sophomore Victoria Michalatos (Elmsford, N.Y./Briarcliff), junior Susana Perez (New York, N.Y./Community Health Academy), and freshman Stephanie Presinal (Bronx, N.Y./H.S. of Fashion Industries) were members of Lehman's 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished first, with a time of 2:08.61.
The Lightning will return from the holiday break on Wednesday, January 7, when Lehman hosts Brooklyn College in a CUNYAC meet, at 6:00 p.m.
