Hugh Campbell scored the first three goals of the match to lead the men's soccer team past Sarah Lawrence College, 6-0, in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon. As a team, the Lightning scored four goals in the first half and two in the second to earn the convincing victory.
Campbell's (Bronx, N.Y./Evander Childs) first tally came off a header to give the home team a 1-0 lead, 7:03 into the match. Just over a minute later, he received the ball on a cross from sophomore midfielder
Essosa Aluyi (Nagoya, Japan/Elmont Memorial) and scorched it into the back of the cage to give the Lightning (2-7) a 2-0 advantage. Campbell completed the hat trick by tipping the ball into the net to make it 3-0 Lehman with 37:26 remaining in the opening half.
Aluyi tallied two goals of his own, giving him a team-high seven goals so far this season. His first one occurred 25:29 into the match while his second tally capped off Lehman's scoring, with 13:47 remaining in regulation.
Jonathan Moallem (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) tallied a goal in the 62 minute off a corner kick. Senior midfielder

Christian Morales (Yonkers, N.Y./Saunders) each tallied two assists while Aluyi added an assist of his own.
The Lightning will be back on the South Field for a CUNY Athletic Conference match with York College, on Wednesday, October 1. The match is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.
