Box Score BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's soccer team earned a convincing CUNYAC win over the City College of New York, 4-0, on the South Field on Saturday afternoon. The Lightning now advance their record to 3-3 in conference play, while City College falls to 2-3 in CUNYAC contests.
Lehman was led by freshman forward
Bijean Johnson (Bronx, N.Y./Harry S. Truman), who scored three goals in the first 29:08 of the match. Lehman never looked back as junior goalkeeper
Irvin Barreto (Brooklyn, N.Y./Martin Luther King, Jr.) made four saves to earn the shutout.
Johnson's first goal came just over 10 minutes into the match, as he received a pass from junior defender
Maurice Whyte (Bronx, N.Y./Kingston College) and drilled the ball into the back of the net to put the home team up 1-0. Less than eight minutes later, sophomore midfielder
Brandon Melendez Ruiz (Yonkers, N.Y./Gorton) had a free kick opportunity and directed the ball towards the net where Johnson was able to tip the ball into the cage to give Lehman a two-goal cushion.

th minute, Johnson took a feed from freshman forward
Douglas Venancio Dos Santos (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and shot the ball into the net to complete the hat trick and extend Lehman's lead to 3-0. Dos Santos added a goal in the second half, as he tipped the ball into the net off a throw in by junior defender
Ramone Rowe (Bronx, N.Y./Knox College H.S.) in the 53
rd minute to make it 4-0 Lehman. That would be the final score.
The Lightning and Beavers were even in shots at 18, but the Blue and Gold had the advantage in shots on goal, 8-4.
Lehman will hit the road to take on Ramapo College, on Monday. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:45 p.m.
