MAHWAH, N.J. – The Lehman College baseball team fell to Ramapo College, 17-1, in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

Leading the way for the Lightning (2-6) was freshman third baseman Christopher Lopez (Bronx, N.Y./Lehman H.S.), who tallied three hits and scored Lehman's only run. Senior outfielder Danny Rodriguez (New York, N.Y./Pennsbury) produced a single and a run batted in, while freshman outfielder Miguel Rodriguez (Santiago, D.R./H.S. of World Cultures) hit a double.

On the mound, junior pitcher Matthew Brown (Astoria, N.Y./Holy Cross) started and took the loss, pitching one inning and giving up three earned runs.

The Lightning will open up CUNY Athletic Conference play on Saturday, with a doubleheader at the College of Staten Island, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
