Box Score BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's soccer team fell to Medgar Evers, 2-0, in the CUNY Athletic Conference opener on the South Field, on Saturday afternoon. The Lightning fall to the .500 mark, at 3-3, while starting the conference campaign, 0-1.
The Cougars (1-5, 1-0 CUNYAC) scored both of their goals in the final 15:30 to clinch the victory. The Lightning outshot the visitors, 17-7, while each team had four shots on goal. Lehman could not find the back of the net.

Irvin Barreto (Brooklyn, N.Y./Martin Luther King, Jr.) made two saves for Lehman. The Lightning had six corner kicks, while the Cougars had one.
Lehman will be back in action on Wednesday, when the Lightning travel to Randall's Island, to battle Baruch in a key CUNY Athletic Conference contest. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
