Swimmers Set to Battle Baruch

Bronx, NY – The Lehman College men's and women's swimming and diving teams will once again hit the pool at the APEX as they host Baruch in a CUNYAC showdown. The first event is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM.

The Lehman women are coming off a 120-86 victory over John Jay, their first conference win of the season. Jessica Reynoso (200 IM and 100 breast) and Melody Ovalles( 200 free and 100 back) each recorded a pair of victories and led Lehman to another victory in the 200 medley relay. The women come into tonight's contest with an overall record of 4-3 and a mark of 1-2 in CUNYAC.

The men's team has not competed since mid-December but was able to stay sharp thanks in part to a training season in Florida during the first part of the month. The Lehman men stand at 3-2 overall and 0-1 in the conference.

The Baruch women come to the APEX Pool with a record of 3-4 overall and 3-1 in conference action. They split their last two outing, falling to Hunter and defeating Brooklyn.

The Baruch men are 2-4 overall and 2-1 in CUNYAC. In their last outing this past Monday, Baruch easily defeated Brooklyn 123-70.
