Bronx, NY – Today is another busy day for the Lehman College athletes.  The women's tennis team will host conference rival Staten Island.  The men's soccer squad will host York and the women's soccer team will travel to Mount St. Vincent. 

The women's tennis team is off to their best start in recent years.  Lehman is the proud owner of a 7-1 record having won six in a row.  In their last match, the Lightning defeated Mt. St. Mary 6-3.  The Dolphins come into the match with a 4-5 record.  In their most recent outing they narrowly defeated John Jay 5-4.  First serve is scheduled for 4:00 PM. 

The women's soccer team travel to Riverdale for the Battle of the Bronx against Mt. St. Vincent.  Lehman stands at 4-4-1 after drawing with Old Westbury, 1-1, on Monday night.  The Dolphins are 6-4.  In their most recent outing they defeated Old Westbury 2-1.  Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM.

The men's soccer team looks to remain undefeated in CUNYAC play as they host York at 5:00 PM on the South Field.  Lehman comes into the match with a 4-3-3 overall record and a 2-0-2 mark in the CUNYAC.  In their most recent outing the Lightning got a late goal from Abdaulaye Bassirou to earn a hard fought 1-0 victory over Baruch in a key conference match up. 

York has struggled this season.  The Cardinals are still looking for their first win of the season as they stand at 0-10-1 overall and 0-3-1 in conference play.  In their last outing this past Monday, they fell 4-0 to St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn).
