Mamadou Talla scored his first goal of his collegiate career in the 15^th minute to give the Lightning a 1-0 lead over John Jay.  Ramone Rowe was credited with the assist.  It was all Lehman would need to go onto victory.  The win leaves Lehman with a 6-3-3 mark.  The Lightning are still undefeated in conference play at 4-0-2 and stand one point out of first place. 

Lehman outshot John Jay 19-12.  Lehman goal keeper Irvin Barreto went the distance and was credited with five saves. 

The Lightning will have a week to prepare for the College of Staten Island.  CSI currently sits in third place in the CUNYAC.  Game time on Saturday, October 15 is 2:30 PM on the South Field.
