Volleyball and Track Back in Action

Bronx, NY - Fresh off a convincing 3-0 home opener victory over Yeshiva the Lightning men's volleyball team find themselves back on the road today at Baruch to face York and Brooklyn. 

Oralndo Vargas tallied 16 kills and six service aces to lead Lehman to a 25-18, 25-8 and 25-22 at the APEX.  Emmanuel Ortiz finished with a season-high 33 set assists, in addition to four service aces and a team-best nine digs. Henry Nunez contributed five kills, two service aces and seven digs, while Ramon Jimenez added eight kills.

These will be the first CUNYAC games of the 2016 campaign for the Lightning.  The match against York is scheduled to start at 10 AM while the match against Brooklyn starts at approximately 2:00 PM. 

The Lehman men and women's track and field teams will travel to Middletown, CT to compete in the Wesleyan Indoor Invitational.  Earlier this season, Lehman was scheduled to compete at Wesleyan but was denied the chance due to Super Storm Jonas that blanketed the Middle Atlantic States. 

Neither live stats nor video will be available at either competition.
