The Lehman College men's indoor track and field team continued their indoor season with a strong showing on the track, highlighted by multiple top-20 finishes.
The Lightning were led by standout efforts in the 400-meter dash from Cameron Dennis who delivered one of the top performances of the meet, placing 10th overall in the 400 meters with a time of 52.43 seconds, while also adding an 11th-place finish in the 200 meters in 23.68 seconds. Brandon Dennis followed with a 15th-place finish in the 400 meters (53.54), and Mohamed Donzo clocked 55.05 seconds to place 19th in the event. Eberto Fernandez added a 20th-place finish in the 400 meters (55.46).
In the 60-meter dash, Rismond Agyemang led the sprint group with an 18th-place finish in 7.47 seconds, while Joshua Bennett placed 26th in 7.59 seconds and later added a 25th-place finish in the 200 meters (24.62). Linbel Lloveres recorded times of 7.63 seconds (28th) in the 60 meters and 24.64 seconds (22nd) in the 200 meters .
Additional contributions came from Tyler Rosa, who ran 25.57 seconds (29th) in the 200 meters, Jalen Alvarado, who finished in 26.76 seconds (32nd), and Daniel Raji-Bolaji, who posted 26.99 seconds (33rd) in the 200 meter event.
Lehman College will return to action at The Armory in Upper Manhattan on February 20th when the Lightning compete in the Garden State Track Club Open, looking to close out their indoor season before CUNYAC championships.
