New York, N.Y. – Both Lehman College track and field teams competed at the annual CUNYAC Championships held at The Armory in upper Manhattan on Sunday as the men's side won medals in five events, while the women's squad finished in the three-spot podium in two.
Marc Saint-Hillaire led the way for the Lightning men as he won gold in the 800 Meters (2:07.21) and was on the second-place Distance Medley Relay Team (11:59.55) along with
Fernando Madrid,
Brandon Dennis and
Oludemilade Lekan Michael.
Cameron Dennis also took the gold in the 400 Meters with a time of 51.03, while
Charles Howard and
Daniel Raji-Bolaji claimed first (12.27m) and third (9.99m), respectively, in Weight Throw event.
Jormy Polo captured the silver medal in the Shot Put (10.98m).
Abena Abankwa went home with two bronze medals for the Lehman women in the Shot Put (9.15m) and Weight Throw (9.94m).
