Box Score 2 BRONX, NY --- The Lehman College baseball lost both seven-inning games of a double-header against visiting SUNY Old Westbury on Saturday afternoon at the South Field on the Lehman campus in the Bronx, losing 16-4 and 10-9.

The Lightning of Lehman (2-7) were down 10-5 going into the bottom of the seventh, when they mounted a massive comeback. With runners at first and second and one out, sophomore centerfielder
Carlo Francisco launched a ground-ruled double to right center to drive in junior
Blake DeRenzis. On the very next at bat, sophomore third baseman
Natanael Toribio drove a single off the foot of the pitcher to bring two more runs in, and Lehman was back in business. With runners on first and second, the Lightning went with a double steal, with Toribio scoring from second but the other runner being caught in the run down. Old Westbury got the final batter to strike out to complete the sweep.

Junior Steve Curello had a great afternoon, going a combined three-for-four while drawing three walks and scoring five runs. Toribio drove in seven runs on four hits, including a three-run blast over the left field wall in the bottom of the first of the second game. Junior pitcher

The Panthers of Old Westbury (9-3) were led by senior Joey Walsh who had four hits and six RBI.

Lehman is back on the field on Sunday when they host St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn beginning at 11:00 a.m.
