Bronx, NY – The Lehman College softball and baseballteams will be back in action today. The baseball team will host St. Josephs (LI) at 4:00 PM on the South Field. The softball team travels to Purchase for a for a 3:30 double header. Volleyball heads to upper Manhattan to face CCNY in a re-match from earlier this season.

Miguel Melendez was swinning a hot bat. The Bronx native batted .500 for the week. He was 9-18 with 6 RBIs and three doubles. He was also credited with two runs scored, nine PO and an assist. St. Joseph's comes to campus with a record of 7-2 and riding a five game winning streak. Anthony Bonilla is the Eagles leading hitter through the first two weeks of the season. The junior is hitting .424 (14-33) with 13 runs batted in and seven extra base hits.

Earlier this season CCNY defeated Lehman 3-0. The Lightning come into tonight's game having not played since last Thursday. Lehman now stands at 4-15 overall and 2-9 in the CUNYAC. CCNY is 6-11 and 5-6 in conference play.
