Bronx, NY – The Lehman College baseball and softball teams will both be in action this afternoon.  The baseball team travels to Newark, NJ for a contest against Rutgers-Newark.  The first pitch is scheduled for 3:30 PM.  The softball squad travels to Brooklyn for a twinight double header against the Bulldogs.  The first pitch is scheduled for 5:00 PM. 

The baseball team will get the opportunity to play in a minor league stadium as hey travel to Newark to battle the Scarlet Raiders in Riverfront Stadium.  The Lightning come into today's action with a record of 6-12 but have won four of their last five.  The Scarlet Raiders stand at 7-11.

The softball team looks to snap a losing streak as they take their 1-11:0-6 record to Brooklyn College Field.  The Bulldogs have also been off to a slow start.  They come into today's action with a mark of 0-4:0-2.
