Bronx, NY – Lehman College and the College of Staten Island will renew their rivalry on the Diamond tonight as the Lightning host a twi-night double header on the South Field. The first pitch is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
The Lightning are coming off a 9-3 mid-week loss at Centenary. Lehman surrendered all nine runs with two outs including five in the seventh. The Lightning are now 7-16 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
The Dolphins enter todays contest with a mark of 13-9. This will be their first conference game of the season. Last night CSI defeated Mt. St. Vincent 10-6 in a come from behind thriller. The Dolphins scored three runs in the fifth and six more in the sixth to erase a 5-1 deficit.
