Baseball falls at Ramapo

Box Score MAHWAH, NJ --- The Lehman College baseball team lost 12-0 at Ramapo College on Tuesday afternoon at Jeff Maund Memorial Field in Mahwah, New Jersey.
 
The Lightning of Lehman (6-14) were led by sophomore centerfielder Carlo Francisco, who went two-for-four with a double.
 
Junior pitcher Emanuel Castro struck out two Roadrunners in three innings on the mound, while junior Francisco Pena came into the game in relief, allowing no hits and recording two strikeouts.
 
The Roadrunners of Ramapo (17-1-1), who entered the game ranked fourth nationally in the latest poll, finished with 11 hits. Junior outfielder Brandon Martinez had two hits with an RBI.
 
Lehman will look to bounce back on Saturday when they play at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in a CUNYAC double-header beginning at 12:00 noon.
