Bronx, NY -- All of the Lehman College athletic teams will be in action this weekend. The softball team will host York and tennis will host Sarah Lawrence. The baseball team will be on the raod against York and the track and field teams will be in Stockton, NJ at the Osprey Open.
The Lightning softball team look to continue their winning ways on Saturday as they host York in a doubleheader on the softball field. First pitch is scheduled for 11:00 AM. Lehman is coming off a sweep of Brooklyn although the Lightning haven't played in more than a week due to the cold wet spring that invaded the metropolitan area.
This past week, Lehman was awarded all three weekly softball honors by the CUNYAC.
Meghan Bravo was named Pitcher of the Week,
Arlette Martinez was named Player of the Week and
Natasha Minier was Freshman of the Week.
The Lightning are 3-11 overall and 2-6 conference play. York is still looking for their first win of the season. The Cardinal stand at 0-8:0-2.
Game Program Live Stats Orignally scheduled for Saturday, the baseball team will take on CUNYAC rival John Jay in a double header at MCU Park in Brooklyn on Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 PM. John Jay brings a 7-16:1-1 record into today's action. The Lightning stand at 6-14. This is Lehman's conference opener.

The tennis team is in the midst of their longest home stand of the season; four games. The Lightning (1-6) look to make it two in a row as the Gryphons of Sarah Lawrence invade the Apex Courts at Noon. Sarah Lawrence (0-3) is looking for their first win of the season. The Gryphons started the season with three straight home losses.
The Lightning have home matches scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
On the track the Lehman men's and women's teams will head down to Stockton, NJ to compete in the Osprey Open. The field events start at 9:30 AM with the first running event scheduled for 10:30 AM.
