New Rochelle, NY  - The Lehman College men's soccer team fell to the College of New Rochelle 3-2 in a non-league contest earlier today. Lehman falls to 1-2-1 while CNR remains unbeaten at 4-0. 

The Lightning jumped out on top 11 minutes into the match when King Owusu found the back of the net from 25 yards out for his first goal of the season.  Essosa Aluyi was credited with the assist.  Thirteen minutes later the Blue Angels got the equalizer off the boot of Jovanni Garcia as he beat a Lehman defender at the top of the penalty box.  The game stayed tied at 1-1 till the second half. 

Twelve minutes into the second half, Essosa Aluyi followed up a shot by Omar Moro give the Lightning a 2-1 advantage.  Seven minutes later CNR drew even again as Rodriguez, Cesar scored his second goal of the season.  In the 78 minute, Gabriel Lopez netted the eventual winner for the Blue Angels. 

CNR out-shot the Lightning 20-12 and had the advantage in corners 11-6.

The Lightning are back in action on Wednesday night against Maritime College on the South Field.
