Brooklyn, NY – Just like in last year's regular season match-up between Lehman and Brooklyn the teams came away with a 1-1 draw. The Lightning move to 2-2-2, while Brooklyn now stands at 2-3-1.
The Lightning dominated in the first half but were only able to find the back of the net once off the foot of
King Owusu. Owusu goal, his second of the season, came in the 30
th minute.
In the second half the tide turned and Brooklyn controlled most of the action. Jody Ortiz got the equalizer in the 66
th minute on a left footed shot from just outside the penalty area. It was his second of the season.
The Lightning and Bulldogs were each credited with six shots the first half but the in the second half and overtime Brooklyn recorded 17 shots compared to just three for Lehman. Lehman goal keepers

Jesus Marin were equal to the task recording 11 saves.
The Lightning are back in action on Wednesday. Lehman will travel to play CCNY.
