Box Score Bronxville, NY – The Lehman College men's soccer team earned a hard fought 2-0 victory over Sarah Lawrence to earn their first victory of the season.  With the win Lehman improves to 1-0-1 on the young season.  It was the Gryphons first game of the season.

After a scoreless first half Omar Moro got the Lightning on the board in the 67^th minute.  It was his second goal in as many games.  The goal was set up by Abdaulaye Bassirou who found Moro down the left side.  After a couple of touches Moro buried the ball in the back of the net from 6 yards out.  Five minutes later the Lightning were awarded an own goal after the ball deflected off a Gryphon player into the net. 

Lehman held the statistical advantage out shooting the Gryphons 18-7.  Irvin Barreto earned the victory in goal and was credited with three saves. 

The Lightning return to action on Wednesday night on the South Field.  The Gothic Knights of New Jersey City University come to town for a 5:00 PM kick-off.
