Bronx, NY – The Lightning (1-0-1) men's soccer team will host New Jersey City University (3-0) in a battle of two unbeaten squads. Last week the Lehman opened the season with a 1-1 against the College at Old Westbury and followed that up with a 2-0 victory at Sarah Lawrence.
Omar Moro leads the Lightning offense with two goals including the game tying tally against Old Westbury and the game winner verse Sarah Lawrence.
The Gothic Knights kicked off their season with a 2-0 victory over Baruch and then went on to win the CSI Labor Day Tournament by defeating Purchase (3-0) and Yeshiva (6-0). All three of NJCU's games have been on the road. The Gothic Knights will have played six contests before their home opener on September 14
th. NJCU have dominated their opponents in the early going have scored 11 goals and not surrendering any. The Gothic Knights have out-shot their opponents 53-27. Omar Ventura leads the squad with four goals while net minder Adam Cassidy has preserved a clean sheet in each contest.

The women's soccer team looks to continue their winning ways tonight as the travel to Bard for an 8:00 PM. In their only other contest of the young season, Lehman prevailed 3-0 against Maritime College.
Daisy Gomez netted a pair of goals while Gredia Sanchez was credited with two assists.
Susana Tario notched the third goal.
Bard (2-0) is also undefeated having earned victories over Albright (1-0) and the College of Mount Saint Vincent (2-1).
Tonight's game kicks off at 8:00 PM.
