The Lehman College softball team gets underway today with a doubleheader in North Myrtle Beach, SC.  It's the programs first trip to the Carolinas.  The Lightning will take on Rhode Island College at 1:30 PM and Eureka College at 3:30. 

Eureka opens the season in today as well.  The Red Devils battle Ursinus in the morning before taking on the Lightning.  Rhode Island took both ends of a double header against John Jay on Friday.  Rhode Island College split games yesterday defeating Penn State – Harrisburg and falling to Cedar Crest, RIC battled Penn State Harrisburg and Cedar Crest.  The Anchorman also play Sunday morning against LaRoche before taking on the Lightning.

The men's baseball squad will battle SUNY Fredonia at 9:00 AM .Yesterday the Lightning earned their first victory of the young season; a 3-2 walk off against Mt. Aloyuis.  Steve Cuello knocked a two-out home run to break the tie giving the Lightning the win.  Lehman is now 1-3.
