Box Score Myrtle Beach, SC – The Lehman baseball team fell to SUNY Fredonia 8-4 as the Lightning continue play at the Ripken Experience in South Carolina. 

After two scoreless innings the Blue Devils got on the scoreboard first with a pair of runs in the third.  They were able to add a run in each of the next four innings to take a 6-0 lead after six innings. 

Lehman threatened in the seventh as they got the first two batters on base before Fredonia called upon reliever Mike Williamson to secure three straight outs, two by strike out.  The Lightning answered in a big way in the eighth as they trimmed the lead to 6-4.  The big blow was a Juan Arias three run homer.    

Fredonia added three insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth to secure the victory. 

The Lightning will play two tomorrow as Lehman will battle Penn State Harrisburg at 9:00 AM followed by an afternoon affair against Catholic.
