Bronx, N.Y. -- The Lehman College baseball team look to build some momentum as they continue their road stretch when they take on Manhattanville College Wednesday afternoon in Purchase.
The Lightning are fresh from an impressive outing to defeat the College of Mount St. Vincent on the road, 23-3, Tuesday night. The win snapped a seven-game losing streak, as they earned their seventh win of the season and earned the season series win over Mt. St. Vincent.
A total team effort, 12 different Lehman players plated a run in the victory.
Jeffrey Ledesma went two-for-three with three runs scored and a game-high three RBI.
Juan Arias along with
Brandon Castillo,
Christopher Lopez and Natanael Toribio each drove in two runs. Arias, Castillo, and
Steve Cuello each laced three hits each as the team totaled 19 hits.
They will taking on a Manhattanville team out of the MAC Conference that is 12-15 overall, and is coming off a doubleheader split with Purchase College Tuesday night. The team has won six games in the month of April, including two of their last three matchups.
