Box Score Madison, N.J. – The Lehman College baseball got eight different batters driving in runs on the day as they rolled to a 15-5 victory on the road against FDU-Florham Monday night in Madison.
With the win, the Lightning snap a three-game losing streak and improve to 8-22. The Devils drop to 13-15 on the season.
Matthew Prevosti went three-for-five on the day with a run scored and three RBI, while
Brandon Castillo also drove in three with two runs scored.
Steve Cuello ripped four hits and scored three runs with a run batted in, while
Natanael Toribio connected on four hits with two RBI. The team also got two RBI from
Juan Arias.
Jeffrey Ledesma (three runs scored),
Christopher Lopez, and
Jaime Maldonado each plated a run each.
On the mound, Emmanuel Vasquez improved to 5-3 on the season with seven strong innings. He allowed just one earned run on six hits while striking out eight batters for the win.
The continuous road trip rolls along tomorrow, as the Lightning travel to New Jersey again to face Rutgers-Newark Tuesday. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.
