Bronx, N.Y. -- Another busy week of Lehman Athletics kicks off Monday, as the softball team looks to extend their winning streak as they host Brooklyn College for a doubleheader. The baseball team is also in action, traveling on the road to take on FDU-Florham in Madison, N.J.
The softball team is currently riding a four-game winning streak, sweeping doubleheaders against Baruch College and York (N.Y.) Saturday and Sunday.
Maranda Diaz was the offensive star of the weekend, driving in a total of 17 RBI over the four-game span. Brooklyn is seeking to snap a four-game losing streak, including two losses in their last matchup against Hunter College.
Lehman's baseball team continues their long road trip with a meeting against the Devils. The team is looking to break a three-game slide, last losing Friday against St. Joseph's (L.I.) 11-8. FDU-Florham is 12-15 on the season, last sweeping a doubleheader against Delaware Valley University Sunday afternoon.
The softball doubleheader will kick off at 4:30 p.m. at the South Field, with game two to follow approximately at 6:30. Live stats and streaming video will be made available on LehmanAthletics.com.
