Soccer Teams to Battle Beavers in Conference Affair

Lehman College will battle CCNY on the soccer pitch later today.  The men's contest will be played on the South Field and is scheduled to kick-off at 4:00 PM.  Meanwhile the women's contest is also scheduled for 4:00 PM on Randall's Island.

The Lehman men are riding a three game winning streak.  Most recently the Lightning opened conference play by blitzing the Bulldogs of Brooklyn 4-0.  Moro Omar netted a pair of goals while Sahl Alzubidi and Nabi Ben Bangoura also found the back of the net.  Goal keeper Chris Mulholland has posted a pair of shutouts during the streak. For their efforts Alzubidi and Mulholland were named CUNYAC Players fo the Week.

CCNY is still looking for their first win of the season.  The Beavers stand at 0-5 and have only scored one goal in five games.

Fans unable to come to campus and take in all of the action can follow along on line.  Live stats and live stream will be available.
