Lehman College will battle CCNY on the soccer pitch later today. The men's contest will be played on the South Field and is scheduled to kick-off at 4:00 PM. Meanwhile the women's contest is also scheduled for 4:00 PM on Randall's Island.
The Lehman men are riding a three game winning streak. Most recently the Lightning opened conference play by blitzing the Bulldogs of Brooklyn 4-0. Moro Omar netted a pair of goals while Sahl Alzubidi and
Nabi Ben Bangoura also found the back of the net. Goal keeper
Chris Mulholland has posted a pair of shutouts during the streak. For their efforts Alzubidi and Mulholland were named CUNYAC Players fo the Week.
CCNY is still looking for their first win of the season. The Beavers stand at 0-5 and have only scored one goal in five games.

The women's squad is in the midst of the busiest time of the season. Tonight is their fourth game in eight days. Lehman, 2-4-1 overall is 2-2 in their last four. CCNY came out on the short end of a 4-1 decision at Maritime two days ago and now stands at 2-2-1. City owned a 1-0 at the intermission but surrendered four unanswered goals in the final 45 minutes.
