Box Score North Adams, Mass. – The Lehman College men's soccer team dropped a hard-fought, 2-1 contest to Western Connecticut in the opening round of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts tournament from North Adams, Massachusetts on Friday. The Lighting face the hosts in the second round on Saturday.

Chris Mulholland was busy early in the game, making a pair of saves in the first five minutes. Western Connecticut kept peppering the Lightning net and eventually broke through with a marker in the 20
th minute. The score was 1-0 for the Colonials at the half.
The Lightning tied the game just past the hour mark when
Eduardo Victorio found the back of the net on an unassisted marker. Western Connecticut bested Mulholland in the 83
rd minute for the eventual game winner. Despite allowing a pair of tallies, Mulholland made 13 total saves in the game.
Salh Alzubidi had the other shot on goal for Lehman.
With the loss, the team falls to 1-2 on the season. They look to get back to .500 when they face MCLA on Saturday at 2PM.
