While the men's soccer continues play at the MCLA Tournament, the women's team will enjoy their home opener against Bryn Mawr College. The volleyball squad begins conference play with a CUNYAC-Tri Match hosted by John Jay.
The Lightning men's soccer team take on the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts at 2:00 PM as part of the MCLA Tournament. Yesterday the Lightning fell 2-1 to Western Connecticut in the opening match of the MCLA Tournament. After surrendering a goal midway through the first half the Lightning battled back with
Eduardo Victorio finding the back of the net with 25 minutes remaining in regulation. Victorio ripped a shot from just outside the penalty box giving the Western Connecticut keeper no chance at making the save. However, the Colonials answered with eight minutes remaining with the game winner.
