Bronx, N.Y. – Both respective Lehman College soccer teams hosts CUNYAC doubleheader against College of Staten Island at South Field on Wednesday, while women's tennis side travels to take on Purchase College in a non-conference match-up.
The Lightning tennis, who are coming off an 8-1 victory against CUNYAC foe Staten Island on Tuesday, hold a 3-6 overall record, and have a 3:30 pm match-up against the Panthers. Purchase, which won 8-1 at Mount St. Mary's College-NY over the weekend, has a 6-1 ledger.
The last time Lehman-Purchase faced off was on October 5, 2017 at The APEX Tennis Courts, with the Panthers posting a 5-3 win.

Wednesday action continues at South Field with Lehman twin-bill against Staten Island as the men's soccer squads meet at 5 pm and then women's sides compete at 7 pm.
The Lightning men (5-7, 3-2 CUNYAC) are coming off a 1-0 home loss to non-conference opponent College at Old Westbury last Sunday. Meanwhile, the CUNYAC first-place Dolphins (11-3, 6-0) defeated hosts Rosemont College, 3-1, on Monday in non-conference match.
Lehman has won the last four overall encounters against Staten Island, with the previous meeting taking place on November 4, 2017 during CUNYAC Semifinals as the Lightning defeated the hosts, 3-2. Forward
Salh Alzubidi scored twice, including the game-winner with seven minutes remaining, for Lehman.

In the second encounter of Wednesday's doubleheader, the Lightning women have a record of 6-2-1, 2-0 CUNYAC and will put their 10-game home unbeaten streak in regular season play on the line against the Dolphins who have a 7-6 overall record but are atop of conference standings with a 4-0 mark.
Lehman is coming off 2-0 win against visiting Old Westbury in non-conference play on Sunday, while Staten Island lost 5-0 at Montclair State on Monday.
The Lightning have not beaten the Dolphins since 2015. The last meeting between the two sides took place on Nov. 4, 2017, during the CUNYAC Women's Final as Staten Island won 2-0.
