The CUNYAC Semifinal match-up was originally scheduled for last weekend, however it was postponed until Tuesday due the nor'easter that came through the metropolitan area.

The Lightning, who captured the conference title the last two years, come into Tuesday's encounter with 6-9-2 overall record and third seed in CUNYAC Tournament, while Bearcats have a 7-5-3 mark and are the second seeded during postseason.

Lehman reached the semis after eliminating sixth seeded Hunter College last Wednesday, 5-3, on penalty kicks after a thrilling 3-3 draw, after 90 minutes of play and two sudden death overtime periods, during CUNYAC First Round at South Field.  Meanwhile, Baruch by virtue of its second place regular season finish earned an opening round bye into the semifinals.

The previous encounter this season between the Lightning-Bearcats took place two weeks ago (October 13th) and ended in a scoreless draw at Randall's Island.  The last time both teams faced off during the CUNYAC Postseason was on November 5, 2011 with Lehman winning the championship final, 5-4, on penalties after a 2-2 tie.

The winner of Lehman-Baruch will meet the other semifinal victor from Tuesday between College of Staten Island-John Jay for the CUNYAC title and a berth to the NCAA Tournament on Saturday also at Brooklyn College.
