Box Score Brooklyn, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's soccer team concluded its season with a 2-0 loss to Baruch College in the CUNYAC Tournament Semifinal encounter held at Brooklyn College Field on Tuesday.
The third-seeded Lightning held the second-seeded Bearcats scoreless for more than an hour as the teams were leveled on total shots (eight apiece). However, Baruch finally broke the deadlock with a penalty kick tally from defender Alexey in the 70
th minute-mark.
Nine minutes later, midfielder Shaiem Allah Morad closed out scoring for the Bearcats off an assist from defender Natari Mohammad.
Goalkeeper
Chris Mulholland made five saves in the loss for Lehman as it ends the year with a 6-10-2 overall record. Meanwhile, Baruch improves to 8-5-3 and advances to the CUNYAC Championship Final on Saturday when it takes on CSI, which eliminated John Jay in the other semifinal earlier.
