Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's swimming/diving team will compete in its first CUNYAC meet of the season against hosts Hunter College at North Pool on Tuesday. The Lightning hold a 1-1 record, while the Hawks have an undefeated ledger of 2-0.
The last time both women's sides met was at The APEX Swimming Pool on November 14, 2017, with Hunter posting a 123-77 victory.
Sarina Eshtiaghi led Lehman during the meet as she claimed 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke and was member of four-team 200 medley relay winning side.
The Lightning are coming off a 43-14 victory at Old Westbury on November 7
th. Shelia Davila prevailed in the 200 freestyle in a time of 3:26.71, while she also captured first place in the 100 butterfly in a time of 1:53.67. Eshtiaghi took the top spot in the 50 free in a time of 27.87, while also winning the 100 free in 1:03.68.
Meanwhile, Hunter goes into this meet against Lehman after posting a 60-28 CUNYAC win over visiting College of Staten Island on Nov. 9
