Lightning Athletes Hit the Road

The baseball team looks to remain unbeaten in CUNYAC play as they play two against John Jay.  The tennis squad will travel to New Haven, CT to battle Albertus Magnus while the volleyball team will face the Springfield and Arcadia in a tri-match in Massachusetts. 

After a pair of midweek snow outs the Lightning baseball squad looks to improve upon its 5-7:2-0 record as they take on the Bloodhounds of John Jay.  The twin bill gets underway at 12 PM and will be contested at Fordham University.  John Jay owns a 2-8 mark and has yet to play a conference game.

The Lightning tennis team will travel up to Albertus Magnus for a match beginning at 1 PM.  Lehman sits at 1-2.  Lehman sole victory came against Purchase while the Lightning dropped matches against Baruch and Brooklyn. The Falcons are 0-1 and have not played in three weeks. 

The volleyball team fresh off a straight set conference victory over York will step up in class as they travel to Springfield, MA to face Springfield, the number one team in the country and Arcadia in a tri-match.  Action from Dana Gymnasium on the Springfield campus gets under way at 1 PM.  The Pride come enter today's competition with a record of 21-1 having won 21 straight.  Arcadia stands at 11-9.
