Busy Day for Lehman Athletes

Track and field opens the season at Ursinus, baseball plays two against CCNY, tennis hosts St. Joseph's (LI), softball travels to CSI and volleyball plays a tri-match at Cairn with Fontbonne.

The Lehman College tennis team is the only team playing at home.  The Lightning (2-3) will Golden Eagles have only played once this spring falling to the Merchant Marine Academy 8-1.

The track and field teams were supposed to begin last weekend but snow caused the cancelation of the St. Joseph (LI) Invitational.  Action from Collegeville, PA gets underway at 10 AM.

The volleyball team seeks revenge against Cairn as the Lightning fell to the Highlanders in straight sets two weeks ago.  Lehman will also face Fontbonne, from St. Louis, MO, who is in town during their spring break.  Lehman stands at 14-12, Cairn is 10-15 and Fontbonne is 15-5.
The Lightning softball team has struggled of late and now stands at 4-13.  Things don't get any easier for the squad as they travel to pre-season CUNYAC favorite CSI.

Fans unable to make the trip out to Staten Island can follow all of the action on line via live stats.
