The Lehman College baseball and softball teams will both be in action later today. The baseball team travels to Montclair, NJ to face the Red Hawks at 3:30 PM. The softball squad will travel to Padavan-Preller FIeld in Queens to face Hunter College in a double header at 3 PM.
The Lightning baseball team has won three in a row and now stands at 10-12 overall and 3-3 in CUNYAC. Yesterday, playing as the road team on the South Field, Lehman upended the Dolphins of CMSV 12-2 and 17-2. David Rodriguez paced the squad going for 4-7 with seven rbi and five runs scored. He homered in both games including a grand slam in the nightcap. Montclair enters the game with a 15-8 mark having split games over the weekend with Rowan.
First pitch from Yogi Berra Stadium is scheduled for 3:30 PM. Fans unable to make the trip to New Jersey can follow all of the action on line via live stats.

The softball team snapped an eight game skid with a pair of CUNYAC victories over York this past Saturday. Lehman (6-15:2-2) was led by short stop Maranda Diaz. The Bronx native was 5-6 with four rbi and six runs scored. In their last outing the Hawks (4-10:2-0) dropped both ends of a double header to Scranton 9-1 and 8-1.
