Bronx, N.Y. – Both respective Lehman College soccer teams will host CUNYAC opponents this Saturday at South Field, as the women's squad squares off against York at 11 am, while the men take on Medgar Evers at 1:30 pm.
The Lightning women have a record of 3-1-1, 1-0 CUNYAC and are coming off an 8-0 shutout victory over hosts Medgar Evers' Cougars at Kingsborough Field last Wednesday. Meanwhile, winless York (0-7-1, 0-1 CUNYAC) lost its last encounter 12-0 to conference opponent CCNY last Wednesday. The last women's soccer meeting between Lehman-York took place on October 7, 2017 and Lightning posted an 8-0 victory.

In the second match of doubleheader on Saturday, Lightning men (2-5, 0-1 CUNYAC) will look to end their four-game losing streak when they square off against the last-place Cougars (0-5, 0-1 CUNYAC).
Lehman is coming off a heartbreaking 4-3 conference loss to hosts John Jay at Randall's Island last Wednesday, while Medgar Evers, which hasn't scored a goal this season, dropped a 3-0 encounter to CUNYAC opponent Hunter. The previous men's soccer meeting between Lightning-Cougars was on Oct. 18, 2017, with Lehman posting a 2-0 win.
