Bronx, N.Y. – Both respective Lehman College soccer teams will be on the road this Wednesday in CUNYAC action as the men's squad takes on York College in Jamaica, N.Y. at 4:30 pm, while the women face-off against CCNY at Purchase College at 6 pm.

The Lightning men, who have won the last four encounters against the Cardinals, currently have a 3-5 record (1-1 CUNYAC) and coming off a 5-1 home victory over conference rival Medgar Evers last Saturday.  Midfielder Omar Moro led Lehman's offense with three goals (hat-trick).  Meanwhile, York (1-6-1, 0-1-1 CUNYAC) played to a 1-1 draw against hosts Hunter College at Randall's Island over the weekend.

The previous encounter between Lehman-York was on October 4, 2017 at Brooklyn's Aviator Field, with forward Salh Alzubidi scoring twice, while midfielder Alfons Bujaj added a tally to lead the Lightning to a 5-0 victory.

Elsewhere on Wednesday, the Lightning women's side, who have won two of last three match-ups against CCNY, hold a 4-1-1 ledger (2-0 CUNYAC) and are coming off a 6-0 home win against York last Saturday. Midfielder Melanie Siranaula notched her first collegiate hat-trick in the victory over the Cardinals.  Also last Saturday, the Beavers (5-3, 1-0 CUNYAC) defeated visiting College at Old Westbury, 3-2, in overtime at Randall's Island.

The last meeting between Lehman-CCNY was on September 20, 2017 when midfielder Daisy Gomez notched a hat-trick and Siranaula added a tally to pace the visiting Lightning to a 6-3 triumph.
