Box Score Staten Island, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 non-conference decision to hosts College of Staten Island (CSI) on Monday afternoon. The Lightning fall to 8-4 record, while the Dolphins improve to 6-3-1 mark.
Midfielder Daniel Angulo gave CSI the lead, 1-0, with his first goal of the season off a corner kick taken by teammate Philip Lefkowitz in the opening eight minute of the game.
Midfielder Carlos Montesinos made it 2-0 in the 36
th minute when his scored off a free kick that beat Lehman goalkeeper

The Lightning's
Adrian Magana-Santos, came in the 46
th minute-mark, and went on to make four key saves to shutout the Dolphins offense in the second half. That allowed Lehman to cut the lead in half when defender
Abdel-Haqq Itito tallied his first collegiate goal off an assist from forward
Mubarak Ouro in the 70
th minute. However, CSI held on for the victory.
Lehman returns home to Bronx's South Field on Saturday for a key CUNYAC match-up against leader Baruch College at 12 pm.
