Bronx, N.Y. – Both Lehman College soccer teams will have CUNYAC Championships encounters for #SemifinalSaturday, as they stage a twin-bill at Fordham University's Jack Coffey Field, as women's squad takes on CCNY in the opener at 1:30 pm, while the men's side face John Jay College following.

The Lightning women, who finished regular season with 4-10 record and 4-1 in CUNYAC, are seeded #2 in the conference tournament and will meet third seeded Beavers (6-8; 3-2 CUNYAC) on #SemifinalSaturday.
The #SemifinalSaturday victor will advance to take on the winner of the other CUNYAC Semifinal between John Jay/Brooklyn in the conference tournament final on November 9
th. The conference champion will secure a berth into the NCAA Tournament.
Lehman concluded its regular season and conference play at home with a 1-0 win over Brooklyn on last weekend (October 26

Rebecca Gritz made three saves for the shutout victory. Meanwhile, the CCNY also ended its regular season last weekend with a 3-0 loss to conference leader John Jay.
Since 2012, CCNY holds a 6-5 advantage in the head-to-head series against Lehman, however, the Lightning have won five of the last seven meetings against the Beavers. The previous meeting between the two sides took place this past September (25

Also on #SemifinalSaturday at South Field, the Lightning men, who finished the regular season with an 11-4 ledger and 6-1 mark in CUNYAC, claimed the number one seed in the conference tournament and faces John Jay (6-10; 3-4 CUNYAC), who was victorious, 4-1, in the quarterfinal game against hosts Brooklyn this past Wednesday.
