Bronx, NY – The Lehman College women's Swimming Team dropped their conference opener to Hunter College 111-69 to fall to 1-1 on the season. The Hawks now stand at 2-0.
Sarina Eshtiaghi led the way for Lehman as the Mamaroneck, NY native captured first in the 200 freestyle in a time of 2:10.35 and the 100 Backstroke in a time of 1:02.47. Eshtiaghi was also part of the 200 yard medley relay, along with
Patricia Gonzalez,
Sheila Davila and
Christina Hitchman that placed third. Hitchman also took third in the 50 freestyle in a time of 28.25 and 100 freestyle (1:04.62). Meanwhile Gonzalez placed third in the 200 Individual Medley and Devila captured third in the 100 butterfly in a time of 1:41.26.
The Lightning are back in the pool on Monday, November 18
th as they travel to Purchase College.
