Bronx, N.Y. – Three Lehman College athletic teams will be in action this Tuesday as men's tennis side hosts U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA), while baseball squad visits St. Joseph's College-LI and men's volleyballers travel to take on Brooklyn College.

The tennis side (0-1) welcomes non-conference opponent USMMA (0-0) to The APEX courts on Tuesday at 3:30 pm, for first time since 2016.  The Mariners have won the last nine consecutive head-to-head meetings against the Lightning.  The last time Lehman defeated USMMA on the tennis courts was on March 26, 2008, 5-4, at The APEX.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, Lightning sluggers (2-9) are looking to end their six-game losing streak when they square off against hosts St. Joseph's Golden Eagles (0-0) in a non-conference match-up at Patachogue's Gregg Alfano Field with first pitch set for 4:30 pm.

St. Joseph's has won five of the last six meetings against Lehman with the last encounter taking place on April 21, 2017 with Golden Eagles posting an 11-8 home win.

Rounding out Tuesday's action are Lightning volleyballers (3-10) as they head to Brooklyn's West Quad Gymnasium to face the Bulldogs (5-9) in a non CUNYAC encounter at 7 pm.

Lehman has won four of the last five head-to-head matches against Brooklyn with the last encounter taking place on April 10, 2018 at West Quad Gymnasium during the CUNYAC Tournament Quarterfinals with the Lightning winning 3-1.
