Bronx, N.Y. – Two Lehman College athletic teams will be back in action this Wednesday as softball squad hosts a twin-bill against Purchase College, while men's volleyballers travel to Purchase.
The Lightning softball (0-4) are playing their first games in almost two weeks as they take on Purchase Panthers (0-0) at South Field with the opening pitch of the non-conference doubleheader beginning at 3:30 pm.

Lehman has dropped five of the last six encounters against Purchase, with the last meeting taking place on March 30, 2015, with the Panthers winning 15-3 at South Field.
Another Lightning-Panthers match-up on Wednesday will Lehman's volleyball (3-11) square off against Purchase (4-12) at 6 pm.

The Lightning have dropped two of the last three matches against the Panthers with the previous encounter taking place on February 6, 2018, at The APEX Main Gym with hosts winning 3-0. Setter George Montilla had 13 assists and three aces for Lehman.
Also, this evening's baseball encounter between Lehman and Maritime College at Throggs Neck's Reinhart Baseball Field has been canceled due to field conditions.
