Box Score Throggs Neck, NY – The Lehman College (2-11) baseball fell to Maritime (7-7) 11-1 in a non-league contest played at Reinhart Field on the Maritime campus. 

The Lightning run came in the sixth but by that time the Privateers had put nine runs on the board.  Lehman got a pair of runners on via walks and Anthony Riley delivered a single to right field scoring Mark Vargas.  Riley's hit was one of only three on the night for the Lightning who have struggled at the plate through the first 13 games of the season.  Henry Gonzalez recorded the other two hits for Lehman, a single in the third and in the fifth. 

Rich Frommelt and Jonathan Rogers each threw four innings for the Lightning. 

Lehman is back in action on Thursday as the play their home opener against Montclair State.  Action from the South Field gets underway at 3:30 PM.
