Bronx, N.Y. – Two Lehman College athletic teams will be on the road in non-conference action this Wednesday at 3:30 pm as baseball squad takes on Farmingdale State College, while the softball side face Sarah Lawrence College in a twin-bill.
The Lightning baseball (5-15) are coming off a 14-7 loss at home to non-conference opponent Rutgers-Newark on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Rams (15-5) posted a 5-4 win over visiting CUNYAC side Baruch College also on Tuesday.
Farmingdale State has won four of the last five head-to-head meetings against Lehman, however, the Lightning won their most recent encounter, 4-2, at South Field on April 18, 2018.

Also on Wednesday, Lehman softball (4-10) comes into its encounters against Sarah Lawrence (8-11) after splitting a non-conference twin-bill at New Jersey City University last week (March 28
th). The Lightning won the opener 6-5, before dropping the nightcap 2-0. Meanwhile, Gryphons swept a doubleheader (10-0; 21-3) against hosts Baruch at Randall's Island on Tuesday.
Lehman has won seven of the last nine games against Sarah Lawrence since 2010, however, the Gryphons took two from the Lightning during their previous twin-bill meeting at South Field on Mar. 28, 2018. After winning the first game 2-1, Sarah Lawrence completed the sweep with 17-6 triumph in six innings in the nightcap.
